Alexis McDonald is a first year graduate student in the Community Psychology program. She is a recent alumna from The University of Texas at Austin, with a background in group fitness, mental health advocacy, and residence life on campus. Drawing from her own experiences as a Black woman at a PWI, Alexis hopes to explore the formation of social support networks and identity for Black woman on college campuses. She is further interested in second order change at the institutional level to address mental health concerns for emerging adults.
